Are you looking for a step up from swim lessons to further develop your swimming skills? Look no further than the Jersey Aquatic Club's Stingrays TrainingTeam!
The stingray program provides experienced coaching, a defined curriculum, a vibrant team environment and interesting, fun events for swimmers, both in the water and out, with dryland activities. Over time, each swimmer’s fitness, self-esteem, self-awareness and performance potential will grow.
➡️How old do you have to be to be in Stingrays? 7-18 years old
➡️Do you need to tryout to be a Stingray? Yes, a tryout/evaluation is required prior to registration.
➡️Who is eligible to be a Stingray?
-Familiar with all four competitive strokes, open turns and flip turns
-Complete a tryout evaluation
➡️Is every practice mandatory or can my athlete come on certain days?
-Practices are not mandatory! We offer 4 practices a week but do not expect athletes to attend all of them. We encourage athletes to attend when it works best for them. These days can fluctuate from week to week with no advanced notice needed!
➡️What equipment do the Stingrays athletes needed?
-swimsuit
-goggles
-cap
-rubber training fins
➡️ Do the Stingrays compete in meets?
-The Stingrays conclude Sessions 1-5 with an in house meet typically during the final week of the session! (They do not attend any other meets)

2025-2026 Stingrays Sessions: September through August

Sessions
-Session 1: September 8-October 30
-Session 2: November 3-December 18 (no practice 11/27-Thanksgiving)
-Session 3: January 5-February 26
-Session 4: March 2-April 23
-Session 5: April 27- June 18 (no practice 5/25- Memorial Day)
-Session 6: June 22- August 6- (11&Over- 4:30-5:30pm 10&Under- 5:30-6:30pm for Session 6 ONLY)
➡️When are practices? (Subject to change due to enrollment)
10&Unders: Monday through Thursday**
-5:30-6:30pm OR 6:30-7:30pm
11&Overs: Monday through Thursday**
-6:00-7:00pm
**Dryland will occur on Mondays and Thursdays for the first 15 minutes of class.

-$735 per session
**Please note a 3.5% processing fee will be applied per transaction.
