Are you looking for a step up from swim lessons to get ready for a competitive year round swim program? Look no further than the Jersey Aquatic Club's Stingrays TrainingTeam!
The stingray program provides experienced coaching, a defined curriculum, a vibrant team environment and interesting, fun events for swimmers. Over time, each swimmer’s fitness, self-esteem, self-awareness and performance potential will grow.**

The Stingrays Training Team is a Jersey Aquatic Club (JAC) program where swimmers learn the basic vocabulary, skills and techniques that prepare them to successfully transition into the JAC age group competitive program. Stingrays Training Team swimmer’s practice 3 times a week with the opportunites for more activities both in and out of the water!
🌟Specialty Clinics with National Level Coaching Staff:
Our coaching staff includes esteemed individuals such as Peter Barry (Head Coach at Jersey Aquatic Center), Barbara Huey (Assistant Coach at Lafayette College and Head Coach at North Jersey Aquatics), Laura Riddel (JAC Senior Assistant Coach and Former Head Coach at Summit YMCA), and Dave Kessel (Our resident national level trainer and former national level swim coach). Additionally, expect surprise visits from other elite-level coaches and our own JAC elite athletes.
🌟Dryland/Athlete-focused Training:
Our coaches will contribute to program design for these sessions, aiming to create stronger, more flexible, and fitter athletes. See below for dryland practice times.
🌟Weekday Swim Time in Addition to Dryland:
Previously, we took time from regular practices for dryland activities; now, dryland time is added to the schedule.

➡️Who is eligible to be a Stingray?
-Familiar with all four competitive strokes, open turns and flip turns
-Complete a tryout evaluation

2023-2024 Stingrays Sessions: September-August

-Session 4 4/1-5/30/2024 (No Class 5/27), meet TBD

-Individual session: $700
**Each additional session after your 1st session, a $100 credit will be issued to your account when the next session starts. Must register before the start of the session or have paid for entire session.
