Are you looking for a step up from swim lessons to get ready for a competitive year round swim program? Look no further than the Jersey Aquatic Club's Stingrays Pre-Team!
The stingray program provides experienced coaching, a defined curriculum, a vibrant team environment and interesting, fun events for swimmers. Over time, each swimmer’s fitness, self-esteem, self-awareness and performance potential will grow.
The STINGRAY DEVELOPMENT (STING-D) program is a JERSEY AQUATIC CLUB (JAC) pre-team program for all graduates of DOLPHIN 4 level of the REEF SWIM SCHOOL. STING-D group swimmers learn the basic vocabulary, skills and techniques that prepare them to successfully transition into the JAC AGE GROUP program. STINGRAY DEVELOPMENT group swimmer’s practice 4 times a week, each class will include 15 minutes of video review.

➡️How old do you have to be to be in Stingrays? 6-17 years old
➡️Who is eligible to be a Stingray?
-Familiar with all four competitive strokes, open turns and flip turns
-Completed the JAC REEF Swim School, Dolphin 4 Level or the equivalent
2023-2024 Stingrays Sessions: September-August
➡️When are the sessions?
5 Sessions (9 weeks each), Monday-Thursday, plus 1 competition.
-Session 1 9/5-11/2 Session (No Class 10/9, 10/31), meet: 11/2/23
-Session 2 11/13-1/18/2024 (No Class 12/25-1/1/2024), meet: 1/18/24
-Session 3 1/22-3/21/2024, Meet 3/21/24
-Session 4 4/1-5/30/2024 (No Class 5/27), meet 5/30/2024
-Session 5 6/3-8/1/2024 (No Class 7/4), meet 8/1/2024
➡️What are the times? (**Subject to change due to enrollment**)
Session 1:
-9&10 group practices 5:30-6:30 PM
-8&Under group practices 6:30-7:30 PM
-11&Over group practices 6:00-7:15 PM
Sessions 2-5:
-10&Under group practices 6:00-7:00 PM
-11&Over group practices 6:00-7:15 PM
➡️What is the cost?
-Individual session: $700
-Two or more sessions: $600 per additional sessions ($100 credit will be issued after the session starts)
-Entire 2023-2024 season: $2500
